Japan Travel Bureau (JTB), the largest provider of tourism services in Hawaii, has recommitted to the Hawaii market by extending their office lease at the Bank of Hawaii Waikiki Center, as the continued anchor tenant. Allen Yamaguchi of Cushman and Wakefield ChaneyBrooks emphasizes the importance of this strategic move.
JTB’s lease renewal is a great sign for the future of tourism in Hawaii. This ensures an assurance by JTB to continue their marketing services in promoting Hawaii as a travel destination.
Jim Cochran of Cushman and Wakefield ChaneyBrooks adds, “This renewal solidifies the excellent relationship between the Bank of Hawaii Waikiki Center and JTB Hawaii, into the future. As the largest tenant in the building, JTB’s presence provides a unique synergy with the building’s tenants and contributes to the special ambiance of the Bank of Hawaii Waikiki Center.”
The transaction was successfully negotiated by the Cushman and Wakefield ChaneyBrooks leasing team, led by Allen Yamaguchi, Jim Cochran, and Kohei Hakamada. Kohei Hakamada points out, “JTB’s decision shows their confidence in the strong future tourism industry in Hawaii and the Hawaii economy overall.” Cushman and Wakefield ChaneyBrooks, who also manages the building, looks forward to continuing to support JTB’s Hawaii business.
