Leilani’s professional career began as a loan processor/closer at a mortgage company. She then mastered other positions such as a legal secretary at Kessner Duca (a law firm), claims assistant at HEMIC and a training assistant in the leadership department at the Bank of Hawaii. Leilani’s wide range of expertise allowed her to develop into property management. Leilani Clayton joined Cushman & Wakefield ChaneyBrooks in 2018 as a Property Manager, with over a decade of commercial property management experience. Leilani started her property management career at Colliers International as an administrative assistant and in a short amount of time, she was promoted to assistant property manager and eventually became a property manager. The portfolio she managed included Class A, B and C office buildings, industrial and retail properties. Her latest management endeavor included managing a mixed-use high-rise office building for Douglas Emmett Management. Leilani brings to the table a variety of experience, as well as the ability to master complex tasks and navigate issues, which are valuable tools in this industry. In addition, Leilani has a strong background in budget and forecast development and multi-year capital improvement plans. She excels in building relationships both internally and externally. Leilani’s additional skillsets include tenant retention and relations, lease administration, job cost analysis, CAM reconciliations, safety systems, construction coordination/oversight, emergency development of procedures. During her spare time, Leilani can be found enjoying time with her family at the beach and parks; or watching and volunteering at her daughter’s volleyball club tournaments.
