With Hawaii real estate + Fortune 250 background, Ray Tsuchiyama is Real Estate Advisor/Senior Proj-ect Manager with Cushman & Wakefield ChaneyBrooks. He brings strategy, planning, and operations experience to global real estate investors and asset managers. For ChaneyBrooks clients, he is project manager for mixed-use design and construction development. Mr. Tsuchiyama spent a decade in land development, sales, and project management with Castle & Cooke Properties, Monroe and Friedlander (now Colliers International), and Mitsui Fudosan Realty Co., Ltd. He led key transactions in land parcels, golf courses, office buildings, and other properties. He represented a consortium for Honolulu light-rail station mixed-use development, and has published on transit Public-Private Partnerships (P3). During 20 years in Japan with the Massachusetts Institute of Technology (where he worked with the M.I.T. Center for Real Estate), AOL Time Warner, and Google, he managed relationships with Japanese trading firms, car manufacturers, and financial institutions. An Asia-Pacific expert, he launched sales, engineering support, and product development offices in Beijing, Hong Kong, Singapore, and New Delhi. Returning to Hawaii, he led University of Hawaii Foundation initiatives and was a FEMA-funded nation-al training center COO. Active in the Hawaii community, Mr. Tsuchiyama is a Board member with the Pacific and Asian Affairs Council, a member of the Japan-America Society of Hawaii and Honolulu Jap-anese Chamber of Commerce, and a former Maui County Commissioner. He was an American Chamber of Commerce in Japan (ACCJ) member and currently is a Tokyo American Club Life Member.
