Kohei Hakamada, Senior Real Estate Advisor, began his career in commercial real estate in 2005. Kohei specializes in landlord and tenant representations with a combined lease consideration exceeding $750M. He has successfully leased over 600,000 rentable square feet of commercial space ranging from Class A office space to neighborhood retail space. Mr. Hakamada also focuses on acquisitions and dispositions of retail, office, and hotel properties with transactions totaling more than $800M. Kohei has been the top producer for the company 11 of the past 13 years and a top 5 producer for the firm since 2006. A native of Japan, Kohei is bilingual in English and Japanese, allowing him to serve as a vital point of communication for Japanese-based corporations in need of a professional bridge. Kohei excels in fiscal management and interpersonal communication. Prior to joining NAI ChaneyBrooks (now Cushman & Wakefield ChaneyBrooks), Mr. Hakamada worked as a business consultant and sales liaison for large, high-profile Japanese consulting firms in Japan and Hawaii.
